Who we are

M3 Expressive Web (m3e.kyralabs.dev) is the documentation site of the open-source @kyralabs packages, run by Kyra Labs. This policy covers this site only.

When you visit

The site is a set of static pages hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver the pages and protect them against abuse, Cloudflare processes the technical data your browser sends with every request: your IP address, the page you asked for, your browser's user agent and the time. Cloudflare handles this data under the Cloudflare privacy policy. Kyra Labs adds no analytics, tracking or logging of its own, and doesn't use this data to identify visitors. Cloudflare may show us aggregate figures, such as the number of requests.

Fonts, icons, scripts, images and the search index all come from this site. Pages make no requests to other services: no web fonts from Google, no CDNs, no embeds.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie when it needs to check that a request comes from a person rather than a bot.

What's stored in your browser

When you change the color theme, the site remembers your choice in your browser's local storage so that every page uses it. Nothing in local storage is sent to us or to anyone else.

  • m3e-site:mode: light or dark, if you picked one in the theme menu. Choosing System removes it.
  • m3e-site:theme-seed and m3e-site:theme-css: the seed color and the generated theme, if you applied one from the home page or the color theme builder. Resetting the theme on the home page removes them.

You can also delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Search runs on your device. The search box downloads the site's index from this site and looks up your words in your browser; what you type is never sent anywhere.

The packages themselves

The @kyralabs packages you install from npm contain no telemetry and make no network requests. Fonts and icons are files you serve from your own site.

Pages link to other sites, such as GitHub, npm, the playground and material.io. Their own privacy policies apply once you follow a link.

Your rights

Because Kyra Labs doesn't collect or store personal data about visitors, there is normally nothing for us to give you a copy of, correct or delete. For data Cloudflare processes, you can use the rights described in Cloudflare's policy. If you have a question or a request, contact us as below.

Changes to this policy

If the site changes how it handles data, this page changes with it and the date above is updated. Every earlier version is in the history of this page on GitHub.
